I love awards show season and the finale is this weekend with the Oscars! Something, something awards and red carpet. Let’s talk the swag bag. It’s loaded with goodies this year from jewelry to luggage, even a gold and crystal mixer. Yes, a Kitchenaid mixer:

Now I don’t know if the above is the exact one that will be given to the biggest stars, but it’s made by the same designer, Nicole Dinardo, of Un Amore. She turns Kitchenaid mixers into beautiful works of art (at least I think they are.) The gold and crystal mixer would retail at about $1500! Check out some of her amazing designs below. I would bake all day if I had one of these beauties:

Happy New Year, my back’s all messed up. Crap. It appears to be my mattress that’s causing the problems, that’s incredibly frustrating because we purchased this mattress in May. Meh, and stuff. I would do anything to get a good night’s sleep (comfortably) and if I had the cash to dole out I would totally break down and buy the Hastens Vividus, just a hair under 70k:

Why so expensive? Well it’s made entirely by hand using only the finest materials. Personally I think it’s the fancy pattern on the mattress that knocks up the price, it looks like a French male model’s shirt. Till I can wrangle up the cash I suppose it’s couch city.

I used to buy fancy pants sunglasses, but after losing a pair of Dolce & Gabbana’s on the Raging River Rapids at Great Escape (they flew off my head) I became one with the cheapies. My new fave sunglasses were just $9.99 at Rite Aid, class all the way.

If you’re not a clumsy cheapskate perhaps these are for you, the most expensive sunglasses in the world:

They’re the DG2027B by Dolce & Gabbana. They’re $383, 609. I can only assume that they’re covered in diamonds and made of gold that every member of the royal family has kissed. Insane!
